About me

I’m Sólveig, a photographer based in Berlin.
I grew up in Reykjavík and now live here with my husband and daughters.

My work is rooted in presence. I’m interested in what happens when things slow down, when people don’t feel rushed to perform, and can simply be as they are.

I believe the experience of being photographed matters as much as the images themselves. I work in a way that is thoughtful, unforced, and attentive to atmosphere.

I approach each session as a collaboration, shaping the pace, structure, and atmosphere together. Across creative portraits, branding work, events, and motherhood sessions, my focus remains the same: creating images that feel grounded, visually strong, and intentional.
